Export Market Development Grant – Applications opening November 2024 for FY 25 & 26

AusIndustry has advised that the next round of applications for the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) will open on 12^th November 2024.

Applications will be assessed in order of lodgment.

The EMDG provides matched funding for eligible marketing expenditure for those businesses targeting overseas markets.  Costs which are eligible include overseas trips, foreign buyer visits, maintaining a foreign representative, samples, promotional and advertising material, export training activities and intellectual property rights.

Applications and the amounts of support are split into Tiers depending upon the export activities of the business and turnover as follows:
 
Tier 1 – No Prior Export Activity – Minimum annual turnover – $100,000
Grant Amount $20,000 – $30,000 per annum
Tier 2 – Currently exporting – Annual turnover $500,000 – $20 million
Grant Amount $20,000 – $50,000 per annum
Tier 3 – Exporters targeting new key markets – Annual Turnover $1 million – $20 million
Grant Amount $20,000 – $80,000 per annum
